What kind of materials do you use for earrings?

For all earrings I use silver/18K gold plated nickel-free fish hooks. Most charms are handmade using shrink plastic and paint markers plus either a Krylon Triple Glaze Sealant or Mod Podge Dimensional Magic. All other charms are not handmade and each have different material components. 

FOR CANDLES:
What kind of wax do you use?

100% all natural soy wax is used in ALL my candles and wax melts. 

 

What kind of wicks do you use?

100% cotton braided wicks. No zinc or paper filling. 

 

What kind of scents do you use?

I use essential oils and candle scent fragrances.

 

How long will my candle/wax melt burn?

The burn time differs between size and scent/color of the candle. The more scents/colors added, the less time the candle will last. This is due to the heat change. When scents and colors are added to the wax, the temperature the candle burns will be higher, therefor the wax will burn faster. This in mind, the average 7oz candle is going to burn from 35-55hrs. 4oz candles will burn from 20-25hrs. 2oz candles will burn for 12-15hrs. It also depends on the air quality of the room it is being burned in.

My non-scented candles will last longer, and burn at a lower temperature.

Wax melts will burn for 6-10hrs, depending on air quality and scents.

 

How long should I burn my candle or wax melt?

For long lasting candles, and to ensure they do not overheat, only burn candles for 1-2 1/2 hours. And no more than 3 hours at a time. (Since these are 100% natural homemade candles, if they are burned for too long, the wax may melt to a point the wick will fall in.) 

For long lasting wax melts, melt only long enough for scent to fill the room, then turn off warmer. Melting longer than an hour at a time may shorten the life of the wax melt.
